About Us
We are Hollands Hophuis, where high-quality hops from European soil take centre stage. We believe in cooperation: wherever we are, whatever we do, we always look to connect with the people around us: together we make the difference. We like to keep an open mind and a positive attitude, that's how we keep discovering and learning.
Hollands Hophuis was founded by Carel and Pieter. Originally, we are hop growers, in that capacity we bring our knowledge to breweries and form the link between our growers and brewers. In this role, we also seek connection with beer lovers, who in the end consume the hops of our growers.
We choose hops from European soil for a reason. Europe is the cradle of hop growing and the European soil provides an enormous diversity of hop varieties, with a very wide range of aromas and flavours. We also stand for hops we know all about, where the entire process, from plant to final product, is fully traceable.
By choosing European hops, we maintain short communication lines with our hop growers. Together with them, we constantly ensure a high quality product. Quality that results from how the plant is grown, harvested and processed into a product with which the brewery brews beer.
It doesn't end here. Together with global knowledge centres, hop researchers and our hop growers, we experiment with the latest techniques and conduct innovative research on growing and processing hops.
This is why we do it: To join forces with our hop growers to let beer lovers enjoy high-quality hops from European soil.
