In Europe, knowledge about hop growing dates back many generations. Hops and the composition of the soil (terroir) are so closely linked that our growers know exactly how to cultivate the best hops. This combination means that the most authentic varieties of hops come from European soil.

The communication lines with our growers are short. Together with them, we constantly ensure a high-quality product. Because the plant is given by nature, we make the difference together with our growers: how we treat the plant, harvest it and process it into a product with which the brewery brews its beer.

European soils and climates are enormously diverse, resulting in a huge variety of hop varieties. By choosing European hops, our hops are always fully traceable, all the way back to the field they came from. We therefore know everything about our hops, from the soil the plant stood on to the machines used to process it.
